SACE EMAX 2 ACB
SACE EMAX 2 is a range of low-voltage air circuit breakers manufactured by ABB in compliance with the IEC 60947 standard. Evolved from traditional circuit breakers into true power managers, they feature rated currents ranging from 630A to 6300A and are designed for the protection and management of low-voltage power distribution systems. Traditional circuit breakers offer only interruption and protection functions, whereas EMAX2 integrates advanced capabilities such as load management, power control, and automatic transfer switching (ATS).
This model Series comprises four frame sizes—E1.2, E2.2, E4.2, and E6.2—with all models sharing the same protection trip units and major accessories.
Installation Type: available in fixed and withdrawable versions (withdrawable circuit breakers operate via dedicated guide rails and feature locking mechanisms for each position.)
Rated uninterrupted current: 630A to 6300A.
Rated short circuit breaking capacity: 42kA to 150kA.
Short-time withstand current: up to 100kA (1 second).
Protection:
Equipped with Ekip Touch protection trip unit with large color touch screen display.
Supports generator protection (Ekip G trip unit), which monitors winding faults and excitation circuits.
Achieve high area selective protection between upstream and downstream circuit breakers.
